In my spare time I love to hang out with my husband and dogs, especially finding new hikes, and going to Bills games.
I also have my yoga teaching certification so yoga and holistic living is a big part of my life as well. I'm inspired by so much, especially nature, positive thinking, and creativity.
I got into nonprofit work because the need is so great and I want to be of service to my community and help wherever I can.
A hero that I look up to is my mother because she has faced great adversity throughout her life; being adopted as a young teen, battling breast cancer twice, and raising my crazy brothers and me! She has a never-ending abundance of love and wisdom to pass on, and would do anything for anyone. Plus she gives the best hugs in the world.
I am usually reading about 5 books at any moment and can still keep track of what's going on in all of them. It's fun to just pick up whatever genre I am feeling at the moment and jump into the author's world.
