Family Fun Day
May 31st, 2008
The 13th Annual "Family Fun Day" will take place on Saturday, May 31st, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the outfield and rear tent area of Dunn Tire Park. A $5.00 ticket gets you lunch, a ticket to that afternoon's Buffalo Bisons game and access to a carnival that includes inflatable attractions, arts and crafts, games, face painting, music, pony rides, a petting zoo, chances to win valuable prizes and more! It's a great way for the whole family to start the summer while helping local substance abuse prevention efforts! |

A DAY FOR FAMILIES
Each year, the Buffalo Bisons allow WNY United to turn the outfield and tent area of Dunn Tire Park into a carnival of safe and healthy fun for families to enjoy. At just $5 per ticket, "Family Fun Day" is an affordable way to kick off the summer. You won't believe how much you get!
THREE HOURS OF FUN
Your paid admission gets you access to a ton of fun things to do. There's live entertainment, games & activities, arts & crafts, pony rides, a petting zoo, an autograph tent, numerous inflatable attractions, face painting, and more! And here's the best part. All of it's free once you're inside!
LUNCH
In addition, each paid admission gets you one voucher good for a hot dog, bag of chips, soft drink, and a dessert from the tent area concessions stand!
TICKETS
"FAMILY FUN DAY" tickets are available at all Wegmans "That's T.H.E. Ticket!" locations or at the door the day of the event. To receive tickets by mail, simply use our handy order form! No matter how you get them, tickets are still just $5 each!

A WOMAN WHO CARED
The WNY United Family Fun Day was founded by the late Elaine M. Mack. Elaine died of cancer in 1997, but her drive and compassion for those less fortunate lives on through the Family Fun Day, now held in her honor, and through the many ongoing contributions that she made to her community.
Elaine was a noted local humanitarian who was tireless in her commitment to the children and families of Western New York. In 1996, she established the Walk & Family Fun Day, now the Family Fun Day, because she believed in families and supported the effort to educate children about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse.
Her family is represented at the event by her husband, Don, and nephew, Nicholas. Her sister, Jean Toth, is the Chair of the Family Fun Day Planning Committee and a member of the WNY United Foundation Board of Directors.
Your participation will allow Elaine’s legacy to continue and WNY United Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse to grow.
