Front Line Mentoring
The Front Line Mentoring Program takes place during the school day and works combination “push-in” and “pull-out” service for students in need of academic/social assistance. Essentially, when a student is in need of assistance a front-line WNY United staff member works with the student in either the classroom environment or an outside environment, whichever is more appropriate for the situation. In some cases, regular sessions are scheduled on a weekly basis, while other instances are “as needed.”
This program was developed out of a great need for academic assistance in high-risk buildings and to help improve academic standards.
