WNY UNITED WELCOMES TWO ADDITIONS TO STAFF

June 17, 2008

Over the winter, WNY United welcomed additional staff to our School Community Action Team (SCAT) and Achievement Mentor Program (AMP) departments. Michelle Cotter of Buffalo was working as one of our AMP achievement mentors and was promoted to the Achievement Mentor Program Advisor position where she will assist Tammy Regnet with the daily oversight of the program. She graduated from the University at Buffalo in May with a BA in Psychology with a minor in Education. Orchard Park resident Theresa Villano has come aboard to fill two roles at WNY United, working as an AMP achievement mentor at Garabiarz School #97 and as a SCAT prevention specialist assigned to West Hertel Academy #94. Theresa has a BA from Oregon State University and worked for AmeriCorps and Baker Victory Services before joining our staff. WNY United is pleased to add both of them to our roster of prevention professionals!
