Rachel Andelora - Prevention Specialist
Rachel joined the staff of WNY United in September of 2006. Currently, she provides all aspects of the SCAT program throughout the Lake Shore Central School District and Buffalo Public School #53.

Beth Anzalone, CPP - Senior Prevention Specialist
Beth has been with WNY United since August of 1993 and currently uses her nearly twenty years of substance abuse prevention experience to oversee the activities of all WNY United school-based prevention specialists. Contact her with any questions on WNY United's acclaimed School Community Action Team (SCAT) program, resiliency, asset-building, or the "risk and protective factors" approach to substance abuse prevention.

Steve Bennett - Prevention Specialist
Steve joined the staff of WNY United in summer of 2007. Currently, he is a prevention specialist assigned to Buffalo Public Schools #43 and #72.

Don joined the staff of WNY United in February of 2006. He is responsible for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial matters of the agency and foundation.

Lynn Burdzy - Prevention Specialist
Lynn joined the staff of WNY United as a Prevention Specialist in September of 2004. Currently, she delivers WNY United's Life Skills curriculum in the Frontier Central School district and all aspects of the SCAT Program at Buffalo Public School #93.

Dave joined the staff of WNY United in September of 2007. He is currently responsible for all aspects of the SCAT program in Buffalo Public Schools #97 & #56/#64.

Michelle Cotter - AMP Advisor
Michelle joined the staff of WNY United as the Achievement Mentor Program advisor in December of 2007. In this capacity she assists Tammy Regnet in the supervision of the program's many achievement mentors that work in ten different Buffalo Public Schools.

Kim Cymerman - SICA Youth Prevention Specialist
Kim joined the staff of WNY United as a prevention specialist in the spring of 2006. As part of SICA, Kim provides programs and support in schools and community centers on Buffalo's West Side.

Kathleen Deet - Administrative Assistant
Kathy joined the staff of WNY United in January of 2003 and is in charge of all duties related to the running of the office. Kathy also is the primary organizer of all WNY United special events. Contact her for information on the WNY United calendar and printed materials.

Linda Flowers, CPP - Executive Director
Linda is the only Executive Director WNY United has ever known. Since 1987, she has steered every aspect of programming in a very hands-on way. Contact her for any information on the Agency, Foundation, or any substance abuse prevention or related topics.

Darryl Gaiter - Prevention Specialist
Darryl joined the staff of WNY United in February of 1990 and has become a recognized presence throughout the Cities of Buffalo and Lackawanna. Currently, Darryl is implementing all aspects of the SCAT Program in Buffalo Public Schools #31, #74, and #39. Contact him with any questions regarding urban prevention issues.

Rudy Laster - Prevention Specialist
Rudy joined WNY United in January of 2001. Prior to joining our staff, Rudy worked as a Buffalo Public Schools teacher's aide for fifteen years. No stranger to WNY United, Rudy also worked part time in our Summer Leaders In Training Program and served as director of a program that serviced the residents of the Shoreline Apartment Complex on Buffalo's West Side. At present, Rudy primarily serves as a prevention specialist in Buffalo Public Schools #18 and #91.

Tammy Regnet - AMP Coordinator/Prevention Specialist
Tammy joined the staff of WNY United as a Prevention Specialist in October of 2005. Currently, she provides SCAT programming to Buffalo Public School #27 and coordinates WNY United's "Achievement Mentor Program".

Karen Smith - Community Mobilization Specialist
Karen joined the staff of WNY United in April of 2000 as a community mobilization specialist. Currently, she is responsible for activating community efforts in Evans-Brant and fostering participation in WNY United's Red Ribbon and Citizens of the Month campaigns. Matthew Smith, CPP - Foundation Director / Community Awareness Director
Matt has been with WNY United since January of 1991. He oversees the creation and implementation of all WNY United printed materials, media campaigns, and special events. Matt is also in charge of the day-to-day operations of the WNY United Foundation. Contact him with any questions on campaign design, working with media, or Foundation events like Family Fun Day, the Drive Against Drugs Golf Tournament, and Holiday Headstart.

Timothy Smykowski - Research Analyst
Tim joined the staff of WNY United in March of 2002 in the newly created position of Research Assistant and was promoted to the new position of Research Analyst in September 0f 2004. Currently, Tim is responsible for the gathering and interpretation of all WNY United statistical information pertinent to all WNY United contracts. Contact Tim for information on measuring program effectiveness, pre and post-testing practices, and data collection.
